1. Current Status

United History is a static archive. It does not require account registration and does not currently serve advertising scripts. Advertising status: not currently enabled.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

Strictly necessary browser storage may be used to keep interface preferences, such as timeline filters or sorting options, on your device. Analytics and advertising categories are reserved for future configuration and should not load before a working consent layer is installed.

3. Future Advertising

The site is being prepared so advertising can be enabled later without changing the archive structure. If Google AdSense or similar advertising is activated, this policy must be updated before activation to cover advertising cookies, measurement cookies, personalised and non-personalised advertising, Google's use of advertising data, data retention and consent controls.

When a consent-management platform is installed, non-essential analytics and advertising scripts must be blocked until the consent state is known where legally required. Visitors must be able to withdraw or change consent through a persistent Cookie settings link.

4. Contact Correspondence

If you email contact@unitedhistory.co.uk, we use your sender address and message content only to review and respond to your enquiry or correction. We do not use correspondence for marketing lists. Correction requests should include only the information needed to review the issue.

5. Third-Party Links

The archive links to external sources such as official competition records, club pages, statistical databases and reference sites. Once you leave United History, the external site's own privacy policy applies.

6. Your Rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data contained in correspondence you have sent to the archive, subject to lawful retention needs. Contact contact@unitedhistory.co.uk for privacy requests.
